Pictures from around the Somme
No time to wax lyrical about my time here, as I'm shooting up to
Belgium for a few days. Has been a lovely few days - incredibly
moving. I recommend everybody coming here to France to visit the Somme
Battlefields, and learn a little more about the bravery and courage of
the Aussie Diggers. Awe inspiring and confronting. Would those
blokes who layed down their lives be proud of the Australia we have
today? Lest We Forget.
